Pageant and Picnic

Finale

When the parade arrives in Calder Holmes Park (about 3 pm), we will have a large-scale community pageant featuring music, movement and giant puppets. Last year's finale, "Raising of the Sun", featured 120 dancers and musicians from Calder High Expressive Arts and imagery created by the parade's lead artists.

Picnic

After the Pageant (from 3:30-5 pm), join us for a casual picnic in the park with live acoustic music and delicious food and drinks from local vendors.
